President William Ruto has once again implored warring parties in Eastern Democratic republic of Congo conflict to cease hostilities and embrace dialogue. The President said the east African community (EAC) and the southern African development community (SADC) must stand together in calling for a peaceful resolution to the conflict to avert human suffering and loss of lives. Ruto who also doubles as the chairperson of the EAC is among the heads of state attending a joint summit of EAC and SADC in Dar es Salaam Tanzania
