Two charged over murder of PCEA Reverend Julius Ndumia

    Two suspects, Beryl Nafula Otenyo and Felix Odinga Okumu, have been arraigned before the Nakuru Law Courts in connection with the murder of PCEA Reverend Julius Ndumia. The cleric was killed within the church compound at PCEA Tabuga Parish in Bahati Constituency, Nakuru County, on May 4. Investigative officers had requested the court to grant them 30 days to detain the suspects pending investigations. The suspects were reportedly found in possession of the mobile phone and SIM cards of the deceased. The court, however, granted officers 21 days to complete investigations. The suspects were taken into custody at Menengai Police Station, awaiting mention of the case on June 3.
