Two-day Africa Forward Summit kicks off in Nairobi

President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron have called for greater European investment in Africa, describing the continent as the world’s fastest-growing and most strategic frontier for the future. The two leaders have also urged African nations to prioritise investment in youth, modern education, technology and infrastructure while pushing for a more united continent capable of reducing dependence on foreign powers through innovation and stronger internal systems.
