Two people have died and three others are in critical condition following a road accident early this morning at Daraja Mbili in Kisii town. The accident occurred after the lorry’s brakes failed, sped downhill from the town center, and crashed into traders and pedestrians at the market. A total of 18 people were involved in the incident. Eleven victims were rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, where they are receiving treatment. police officers, led by the Kisii County police commander, visited the scene and launched investigations into the cause of the crash.
