Two suspects have been arrested in Wamba town, Samburu County, while transporting 7.8 tonnes of sandalwood worth 8 million Shillings in a crackdown on the illegal trafficking in the endangered tree species. Suspects were arraigned before Maralal chief Magistrate Temba Sitati, who ordered that they be remanded until October as investigations continue.
