Type-C charger assurance

The Communications Authority of Kenya has moved to reassure the public following concerns over its directive requiring all newly imported mobile devices to adopt USB Type-C charging ports. CA Chairman Charles Karondo says the rule will only apply to future imports and will not affect devices already purchased, in transit, or charging accessories currently in use.
