UASU threatens strike over Egerton lecturers' grievances

The Universities Academic Staff Union has threatened to go on strike if the grievances of lecturers at Egerton University are not addressed. Speaking after a crisis meeting, UASU officials complained over delays in implementing the 2018 Collective Bargaining Agreement between staff and the university management. The union is also demanding the immediate replacement of the acting vice-chancellor.
