UDA writes open letter to Uhuru Kenyatta accusing him of incitement and political bitterness

The United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) has written an open letter to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, calling him out for what the leadership termed as pretense after leaving behind the most broken government in modern history. In a 12-page document authored by UDA chairperson Cecily Mbarire and UDA secretary general Hassan Omar, the ruling party accused the former head of state of bitterness after his candidate, Raila Odinga, was defeated in 2022. As Emmanuel Too now reports, UDA now says Kenyatta has been inciting young people against the government by sponsoring anti-government protests.
