USA accuses Rwanda of violating accord on DRC conflict

The United States has accused Rwanda of violating the Washington accords midwifed by President Donald Trump, calling for immediate adherence to the peace accords. Washington’s Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz told the United Nations Security Council that Kigali is hellbent on leading the region to instability and war expressing concerns over Rwanda’s military support for the m23 rebels, a claim denied by Rwanda through its representative to the UN, who said his country is committed to the peace process.
