Veteran broadcaster Sammy Lui passes on aged 82

Veteran broadcaster Sammy Lui Wang’ondu, a familiar voice to many Kenyans, has died. The news of his passing was confirmed by his son, Chris Wang’ondu, on the afternoon of Thursday, October 23, 2025. According to Chris, his father died of cardiac arrest. He was aged 82.
