Wanjigi alleges Sh150.7bn hidden in Treasury ‘shadow account.’

Safina party leader Jimmy Wanjigi has raised alarm over what he terms as massive financial irregularities within government accounts, accusing the national treasury of concealing billions of shillings from public scrutiny. Wanjigi pointed to sudden and unexplained budgetary fluctuations, including a sharp rise in the state house allocation from 529 million to 12 billion shillings, and demanded full disclosure of a shadow account allegedly holding 150.7 billion shillings.
