Wanyonyi finishes fourth in London Diamond League 800m

A week after shattering the world record in the 1,000m in Monaco, Emmanuel Wanyonyi endured a disappointing outing at the London Diamond League, finishing fourth in the men's 800m. The Kenyan clocked 1:43.31 after leading the early stages of the race but faded in the closing metres to miss out on the podium. American Brandon Miller claimed victory in a personal best time of 1:42.19.
