The Ministry of Information, Communications and Digital Economy has pleaded with Kenyans to embrace laws adopted to secure the online space. Cabinet Secretary for ICT William Kabogo while responding to concerns raised by senators on the safety of the internet space as the country gears towards the electioneering period, said though the ministry is putting in place measures to address misuse and abuse of the internet space, challenges still abound citing ongoing court cases around certain proposed laws. The CS was also put to task to explain why only 15 out of 224 gambling firms in the country were registered.
