The family of a 14-year-old boy who dropped out of school to care for his sick mother and four younger siblings in Dandora, Nairobi, has received a new lease of life through the government’s Affordable Housing Programme. The boy Jackson Tito, whose story of sacrifice and struggle was told through social media, touched the hearts of many Kenyans officially moved into a new three-bedroom house with his family at the Boma Yangu Estate in Machakos County.
