Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi: The Government, through Kenya Power and REREC, continues to implement various electrification programmes in Kajiado County, with a key focus under the Last Mile Connectivity Project. There are 53 electrification schemes under implementation in Kajiado County, comprising of 5 new schemes and 48 maximization schemes targeting 1,750 customers. The budget allocation is Ksh.165,762,491.
