Kundi la kijamii la AID Transformation Alliance linaloendesha shughuli zake katika kaunti ya Homa Bay limesema linakumbana na changamoto katika kushughulikia visa vya dhuluma za kijinsia kwa sababu ya mahakama bandia yaani Kangaroo courts zinazotatiza utoaji haki kwa waathiriwa.Kundi hilo limesema kuwa mahakama hizo bandia zinatumiwa kutatua kesi nje ya mahakama halisi na kuwapendelea wanaotekeleza dhuluma hizo huku waathiriwa wakishawishiwa kutotafuta haki mahakamani. Na katika juhudi za kushughulikia suala hilo, mshirikishi wa mipango katika kundi hilo la AID Transformation Alliance, Basra Dahir alielezea juhudi za kundi hilo za kutoa uhamasisho kwa jamii na kuhimiza jamii kupuuza desturi zisizofaa zinazozuia waathiriwa wa visa vya dhuluma za kijinsia kutafuta haki.
