A section of the clergy in the country has voiced strong support for the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA)'s proposal to raise the legal drinking age from 18 to 21. The Clerics from Nairobi and Kiambu Counties have also called for stronger implementation of regulations meant to curb the irresponsible sale of alcohol to minors in the country.
