The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has hinted at partnering with media houses in tallying and relaying votes during the 2027 polls. IEBC CEO Hussein Marjan speaking at a round table meeting with media houses says the move is aimed at ensuring accuracy and curbing misinformation, disinformation that leads to public mistrust in the electoral body. IEBC Chair Dr Erastus Edung Ethekon says the Commission is prepared for the 2027 polls and will seal all loopholes to avoid election malpractices.
