Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya says investigations into the Todonyang massacre, which led to 41 people dead and dozens injured, are being carried out by the Police since the incident occurred within the borders of Kenya. Appearing before the National Assembly Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations Committee, the CS stated that DOD is in the process of acquiring land in Turkana to set up a military base to prevent such incidents from occurring again.
