A section of Kaya elders oppose appointment of Ali Mwakwere as Mijikenda spokesperson

The elders have given Mwakwere 14 days to apologise, warning that failure to do so would attract sanctions. These sentiments were echoed by Nguma Charo, a youth leader, who said the oath taken by Mwakwere is invalid since the elders were excluded from the process.
