Babu Owino has reacted to recent opinion polls that ranked him as the most preferred successor to ODM leader Raila Odinga, downplaying claims of a political “kingpin.” The Embakasi East MP said leadership is not about titles but about the people, adding that if Kenyans see value in his leadership, they have a right to express it. Owino also urged fellow leaders not to feel threatened by the polls, noting that political competition should be guided by service, unity, and respect for democratic choice
