The operation by agency officials, the police, the Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and the Kenya Revenue Authority also led to the arrest of one suspect, who is being held at Nyamira town police station.
Speaking at the scene, NACADA CEO Antony Omerikwa said the operation, which falls under their 100 days of Rapid Results Initiative, had also established that the KRA stamps used on the drinks were either fake or that those that were genuine were used on the wrong goods.
Omerikwa said the content of the branded products also did not match the KRA stamps.
He revealed that the owner of the contraband goods and the owner of the property where the illegal merchandise was located were being followed.
He explained that the suspect's whereabouts and other establishments in town were already under investigation to ensure any alcohol in her other outlets had been removed so that they don't continue causing harm to consumers.
