The Institution of Engineers of Kenya is now calling upon the government to address the issue of pending bills that has crippled the sector over time. According to the president of the institution, Shammah Kiteme, if addressed, the move will relieve businesses leading to the opening up of opportunities for the jobless population. Kiteme, further expressed the need for the government to focus on industrialization to spur economic growth arguing that it has proven effective in transforming economies globally.
