2025 KDF Day held to honour serving, those who died line of duty

President William Ruto says the government will procure necessary equipment to help the Kenya Defence Forces set up bases in counties struggling with insecurity. The bases, the President says, are part of a broader effort by the government to bolster Kenya’s response to internal and external aggression. He called on those in public service, including the Kenya Defence Forces, to stamp out mediocrity within their ranks for efficient service delivery.
