Bungoma county urges farmers to diversify into groundnuts

Farmers and residents of Bungoma County have been urged to grow high income crops that will enable them earn better livelihoods.The residents have been urged to embrace the farming of sunflower and groundnuts as a way of increasing their income. Bungoma County Minister for Agriculture, Hebert Kibunguchi, says there is a ready and growing market for these crops, especially by oil manufacturing companies.
