Tension gripped Ciagiini area in Mwea, Kirinyaga County, after angry residents dramatically halted the burial of a 30-year-old man, demanding justice over his alleged killing linked to a local bishop. Mourners carried the deceased’s casket for several kilometres before abandoning it at Ciagiini Police Station in protest.
