Common mwananchi bearing the biggest brunt of the current demos

Several human rights commissions have come out to condemn current cases of unwarranted violence and human rights violations prompted by Azimio's mass demonstrations, saying it's the common mwananchi who continues to bear the brunt. Leaders of operation Linda Ugatuzi are now demanding that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua together with other leaders who allegedly organized the destruction of property at Northlands and Spectre to step aside to allow for investigations. The National Police Service has also been asked to ensure the security and protection of all persons during demonstrations.
