Court orders Waititu and wife to forfeit assets worth KSh 131 million

The high court has ordered the forfeiture of assets worth sh131 million shillings belonging to former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu and his wife susan wangari ndūng'ū after finding them to be unexplained wealth. This follows a suit filed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) alleging that Waititu amassed assets worth KSh 1.94 billion illegitimately when he served as Kabete MP and Kiambu governor.
