22 suspects have been arrested by police in Nakuru during a crackdown on illegal alcohol in Barnabas and pipeline areas of Nakuru East in Nakuru County.
Police recovered 40 litres of industrial ethanol, 11 gambling machines, several mobile phones, 16 boxes of uncustomed cigarette and second-generation alcohol repackaged in branded bottles.
Nakuru county police commander, Samuel Boit, who led the crackdown, affirmed the police force's commitment to dealing with criminal activities in the county decisively.
