Speaking in Rabai constituency in Kilifi county, Kindiki says the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran is to blame for the crisis witnessed in the gulf which has blocked fuel supplies across the globe. Kindiki has defended the Kenya kwanza administration saying it has cushioned Kenyans after president William Ruto intervened and issued an executive order reducing the vat on fuel from 13% to 8 % as one of the critical measures taken by the government to caution Kenyans. Kindiki also drummed support for the UDA party in the region, rallying the people behind president Ruto's re-election bid
