Floods Displace Hundreds and Paralyze Roads Across Kenya

Hundreds of people have been displaced, and several roads closed following the Friday night downpour that pounded the country. In Kisumu, about 300 families will be spending the night in the cold, after river Sondu broke its banks, sweeping across homes and farmlands. In Makueni, Kericho, and Narok counties, transport services were paralysed for hours after different roads were overtopped by the raging waters.
