Tonight, we begin with the rush to join senior schools. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen now says that at least 70 percent of Grade 10 learners have reported to their respective senior schools. Speaking on the last day of the extended admission deadline, Murkomen hailed the week-long mop-up exercise, which he said government officials had traced thousands of learners as they sought 100 per cent transition. Murkomen's statistics, however, contradict those of the Ministry of education put at a minimum of 85 percent.
