Grade 10 transition crisis leaves thousands of learners stranded at home

Senior Schools under the cluster 4 category formely known as Sub-county schools, are staring at a bleak future due to the low turnout of learners. Almost a week since Grade 10 learners began reporting, only a handful reported to C4 schools, with some receiving no learners at all. This is happening as thousands of Grade 10 learners remain stuck at home despite the government issuing a directive for a mop-up exercise aimed at ensuring that no learner is locked out of the transition to senior school.
