High court nullifies 21 presidential advisors’ appointments

Tonight, we begin with another blow to President William Ruto. The High Court has quashed the appointment of 21 advisors to the President, which was effected over the last three years, contrary to the Constitution and the law. The advisors affected include the President's Economic Council chair, David Ndii; National Security Advisor, Monica Juma; Constitutional Advisor, Makau Mutua; Livestock and Rangeland Management Advisor, Prof. Abdi Guliye; Women's Rights Advisor, Harriet Chiggai; and Jaoko Oburu Oginga.
