Hundreds of pilgrims hold prayers at the foot of mt kenya

Hundreds of pilgrims gathered at the foot of Mt. Kenya for the annual intergenerational prayers that have become more profound over the years. Led by elders from the Agikuyu community, the prayers were centred on national unity as well as peace, in the wake of rising political tensions. The pilgrims also underscored the significance of the prayers which they said are key in passing down important cultural lessons to the younger generation.
