The drought situation is having a serious impact on the Maasai community in Kajiado County. It has led to the deaths of thousands of cows and crops have dried up in farms. Some families are now feeling the pressure to marry off their girls for an income. A 14-year-old girl was forced to run away from home after her uncles wanted to marry her off. Marie Yambo was in Kajiado County to see how the drought is impacting young girls.
