Insecurity surges on West Pokot–Turkana border

Tension remains high along the West Pokot–Turkana border following a spate of killings that has left more than 10 people dead in a span of two weeks. The deteriorating state of security has caused fear and panic among residents along the volatile border. Citizen TV's Turkana correspondent, Emmanuel Cheboit, is among those who have been on the receiving end after he narrowly escaped death when gunshots rang out while he was on assignment in Kalomwai.
