Leaders allied to the broad-based government on Saturday hit out at Kisumu-based Anglican Bishop Charles Ong’Injo over the state of education, saying he should declare whether he wants to join politics or stick to the pulpit. Led by National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, they dared the cleric to tell Kenyans why he did not point fingers during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime. The Kenya Kwanza team also hit out at the opposition and, by extension, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying the latter was envious of President Ruto’s achievements in office in the last three years.
