Kenya has inched closer to streamlining its biotechnology framework as senior government officials, regulators, and scientists opened a high-level roundtable in Nairobi aimed at clearing long-standing policy barriers to modern agricultural technologies. Stakeholders present, however, lamented ongoing court cases, saying they are slowing progress and delaying farmers’ access to biotech solutions.
