Kenya targets to increase tourist numbers to 5 million annually

    Passengers transiting through the kenyan airport will now enjoy a one-day transit visa to allow them to tour the city. This was announced by president william ruto during the official opening of the three-day magical kenya expo taking place at the uhuru gardens. According to the president ruto, this will help kenyans increase the number of tourists visiting the country from the current 2 million registered at the end of 2023 to 2.5 million by the end of this year and later to 5 million annually by 2030.
