Nyeri Town MP Dan Maina has strongly opposed the government’s proposal to relocate the Kiganjo Police Training Centre from Nyeri County to Baringo, warning that the move would disrupt police training and undermine an institution with decades of history. The MP argues that Kiganjo has established infrastructure, trained thousands of officers, and plays a key economic role in the region, and any decision to relocate it should involve public participation and clear justification from the Interior Ministry and the National Police Service
