    The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has ordered Homa Bay politician Philip Nahashon Aroko to surrender immediately to the nearest police station in connection with the murder of Kasipul MP, Charles Ong'ondo Were. DCI officials have confirmed that Aroko is now considered a person of interest in the ongoing investigation. This comes as police arrested five more individuals, bringing the total number of those in custody to nine. Among those arrested are the MP’s bodyguard and driver, who were detained in Nairobi during a nightlong operation.
