A section of MPs from mount Kenya region allied to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have watered down the 100 page impeachment motion tabled by the mover Kibwezi Mp Mwengi Mutuse. The lawmakers led by Gatanga Member of the National Assembly Wakili Edward Muriu have vowed that they will oppose the motion seeking to kick out Gachagua from office. This comes as Church leaders called on the 291 Legislators who appended their signatures in support of the motion to rethink their position and lower the political temperatures in the country.
