    Kenya has intensified diplomatic engagements ahead of the Africa–France summit set to be held in Nairobi in may this year. Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi held talks with france’s minister for Europe and foreign affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, in Paris, focusing on summit preparations. The summit will discuss trade, security and climate cooperation. The prime cabinet secretary says the summit, scheduled for the 11th and 12th of May, is expected to bring African voices to the forefront in global decision-making and push for more funding.
