Northern Kenya Members of Parliament raise alarm over looking drought

North Eastern members of parliament are now sounding an alarm over impending severe drought in the region. The lawmakers speaking in parliament, want the government declare a national disaster to enable access to immediate assistance and resources to support affected communities. The leaders are asking the government to effect the livestock offtake programme as the drought continues to take root.
