Opposition optimistic of winning Malava seat

The United opposition says it will teach President William Ruto a lesson in the 2027 presidential contest, which will be preceded by results from the upcoming by-elections. Responding to the head of state's dismissal of the opposition's capability to beat him in the next general elections, the leaders accused President Ruto of recycling projects in the Western region, in an attempt to woo the Mulembe nation.
