Over 30 men from villages in Gatundu joined the war

More than three months after the country was hit by news of Kenyans being duped and recruited illegally to fight in the Russia-Ukraine war in exchange for a hefty pay package. Citizen TV has established that more than 30 men from three villages in Gatundu South, Kiambu County, could be among those fighting on the frontline, with families now fearing that they could have died in war or are war prisoners.
