Over 3,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises from across the East African Community (EAC) have gathered in Nairobi for the 25th regional SMEs trade fair, celebrating the sector’s vital contribution to innovation, job creation, and economic transformation. The event brings together policymakers, entrepreneurs, and regional bodies to explore new strategies to strengthen cross-border trade and unlock market opportunities. The 10-day fair has also created an opportunity for traders to address key bottlenecks.
