People with disabilities push for CS appointment on International Day of the Disabled

People living with disabilities are urging the national government to appoint at least one cabinet secretary with a disability, saying they have long been sidelined and confined to low-level jobs despite many of them being highly qualified. They also claim that the SHA health insurance scheme has failed to meet their needs, with some public hospitals still charging them for essential services. This comes as Kenya joins the world in marking the International Day of Persons with disabilities.
