Police rescue 27 from Mombasa church amid cult fears

Police in Mombasa county have detained 27 people including 20 minors on suspicion of engaging in cult like activities. Changamwe sub county police commander Gogo Patrick said that the persons were taken in following a tip off from the public, about children in deplorable conditions after starvation at a local church. Police are now seeking a woman who is believed to be the owner of the church as they launch a probe in to the matter.
